The GMO database will contain information on Genetically Modified Organisms that are currently known in plants. The added value of this database is an analytical module to quickly identify the (unapproved) GMOs potentially present in a sample (on the basis of identified genetic elements), safety issues that are known for the GMOs and element composition of each GMO.
The database is still in a developmental environment but will soon be more complete.
